First of all I'm sorry I missed more than two weeks of entries. My net was not working for 10-12 days, then I was a bit busy, and bored with no football. I didn't know what to write about and didn't have much time. So, today is Sunday, plenty of time, So, I'm going to write about everything I missed.
Everything from the Olympiacos game, Stan Kroenke increasing his stake, Arsene Wenger becoming the longest serving manager for us, The Blackburn thumping, Cesc back to his best.
First of all,
The Olympiakos game.
We beat them 2-0.
Both goals coming late on, One from Robin van Persie and One rather offside goal from Arshavin, taking nothing away from that sweet finish though.
Olympiacos were the most defensive team I've ever seen. It was one of the matches in which I actually felt a bit bored seeing attack after attack from Arsenal. Olympiacos were just about hanging on because of their goalkeeper who was very good that night. But you cant win with a team so defence-minded. Arsenal dominated the whole match. I didn't feel scared we might only get a draw. I knew we'd win. It was just a matter of time, when the goals were going to come.

The post match comments from Zico, saying the officials were Frenchmen and that's why we blah blah blah.. were just.. Stupid to say the least.
Back to something more important, Cesc played brilliantly, He's back to his best, Even against Blackburn, which I will talk about more later in this post. He just bossed the midfield. Arshavin looked in better shape and was indeed much fitter and had a good game.
Some more important comments now,
Arsene Wenger said after the match,
"We dominated the whole match. We were very dicipline. We have matured and a game like that shows that we have."
Financial Results
Our financial results were announced, and guess what? WE'RE LOADED! We've got pots and pots of cash! Record profits have been announced
But the decision whether to spend it or not is entirely Arsene's. Even if we don't spend it, atleast we've got it!
Arsene takes great pride in the profits saying he is doing his job. And we all agree with him. He is doing a great job this season.
About the money and the squad, Arsene said,
"There is money to spend but at the moment I am very happy with the squad I have,It's not because I'm against spending money; I have nothing against spending money. It is not a personal thing, it is just that I have a squad that is strong enough to compete."
I don't mind if we keep winning frankly.
13 years of Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger has become our longest serving manager after George Allison.
As fans, we owe a lot to Arsene. He has done a lot for the club. He joined Arsenal when I was two years old so I cant say much about that, All I read and heard is that we were a bit shaky and he came and revitalised the squad with new training techniques and changed our style of play.

But something I can say for certain is that, We got a fancy new stadium because of him, and we keep out spot in the Champions league because of him.
There were lots of comments and praise for Arsene.
Few of them were from out players. The few notable one's were from Cesc and Gael.
Cesc said,
"He has been the most important influence in my short career. He took me here, made me train with the first-team when I was 16 years old - I was training alongside Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira so I was lucky to learn from the big players.
For me it was a very big step forward. The manager took the risk to put me in the team. I have to thank him for that and now I have to pay him back for what he has done for me."
Gael Clichy said,
"In football you always want to be the best and win trophies. So when you don't have the results everyone wants, people start to talk. In the last few years we haven't won anything so people talk badly about him.
But I believe we have to think about what he has done for the club. I really hope this year will be a good one for him and the fans."
Stan Kroenke
The other news was that Stan Kroenke increased his stake at Arsenal.
He bought 80 more shares at Arsenal taking his total to 28.7%. He is coming closer to the 29.9% threshold that would force him to make an offer for the remaining shares.
Arsenal 6-2 Blackburn Rovers
Arsenal gave Blackburn a thumping at the Grove. We beat them 6-2. The 6 gaols came from 6 different Arsenal players. The two Blackburn goals were fluke.
But forget all that.
Cesc Fabregas! He dominated the game. He had four assists and one brilliant goal.
HE IS BACK!
Fabregas commented on the Barcelona players saying that 'Cesc would be great at Arsenal' and, 'Cesc had Barca DNA and all that, by saying
"There’s always speculation I don't like it here but I am committed to this club 100 per cent. It’s my seventh season and it’s hard to hear people say they think I’m not committed enough. It was a good time to show them I really love this club."
We were down after Rovers struck first when Steven Nzonzi headed in from Paul Robinson's free-kick.
Vermaelen came back and scored with a brilliant left footed shot.

The Rovers scored again. And a van Persie goal followed by a Arshavin goal got us the lead by half-time. Then it was Arsenal all the way, Fabregas scored one, Walcott got one and Bendtner scored a beauty.
Fabregas had a brilliant game, setting up all attacks.
I loved the game. Watched the whole 90 minutes. It was just like the Arsenal football I like to see.
